An exercise in looser but nonetheless accurate brushwork, this is a copy of a portrait painted by John Singer Sargent in 1882. These experiments
are valuable in developing technique and accuracy of form and color.
Oil on canvas board, 16" x 20".
Original painting available, inquire for information.
Not available in print.
Framed with an antique-looking dark colored heavy scooped wood moulding, decorated by a faded golden classical styled floral pattern on the innermost lip.
